Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya close to the border of Tanzania. It’s known for its free ranging large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania.
Amboseli is endowed with awesome observation Hills offering majestic view of the peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro (the highest free ranging mountain in the world) and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes warthogs, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry but swampy outside the rainy season.
